My apologies..

I had posted a question regarding shocks and smoothing out my ride. A member said to remove the air bags to which I replied they did not affect the ride, they do.
Even though I only had 5lbs of air in them, that was enough to raise the back of the truck 5/16". I removed the bags and the ride is MUCH better. So, my aplogies to the member I snapped at.

Only 5/16, man mine raise my rig up a good 2" with any amount of air in them.I do find the truck a little stiffer with the bags, but i wouldn't run without them now.

I still need them, just not enough to deal with the rough ride everyday. I capped the lines and left everything on the truck. I just pop them in when I need them.

I don't know if it makes a difference since I have the camper package as well. But yes, with 5 lbs, when I let it out, it dropped the truck 5/16. I can not believe how much smoother the ride is. Once I get my front and rear bumper replacements, I may be able to put the bags back on and the extra weight will keep it smooth.
