mpg with #100 and #0 fuel plates

I haven't seen the mpg that people get with these fuel plates. I am just wondering what kind of mileage you can get with a 0 or 100 plate. Maybe list the best mpg you can personally get with one and the usual mpg.

Yea I believe it's all in the driving style, then again if you have one of those plates you are more than likley not worried about milage...........

As long as you have your AFC enabled changing plate profiles will not make a difference on your mileage if you drive easy. I get just as good of mileage with a DEEP #100 plate as when the stock plate was in the truck slid full-rear, as long as you don't mash the go-pedal it won't make a difference.

I have a 0 and can get 23-24 mpg, thats on those single lane highways with speed limit of 60mph. I get on the interestate 70mph, get about 20mpg.

I agree, its all about your driving style, how deep you press the go pedal, and how fast your going. Anything over 60mph, the wind i think is your main factor.

100 plate

16-17 in city, and 21-22 highway, with 16.5 degrees, dragon fly injectors, and my plate full forward.. AFC is at centered position tho... smoke with 181's is controlable and mileage went up 1-2 mpg over laser cuts...

Yes, I know your foot makes all the difference. That's why I asked for your best and usual mpg numbers. Your modifications do have an effect, and that's why I'm asking.

I just calculated my mpg over 96.8 miles on my B100. Sadly it was 16.16 mpg. I found the density of my own B100 and then filled the tank back up and recorded the change in mass of fuel that went in and then divided by the density. So, my measurement of fuel that went in was pretty accurate but maybe the tank accepted more fuel this time or something. I drove lightly with lots of non-stop at good speeds (good for mpg). I never did calculate the mpg with my modifications and diesel #2, though. I know I should use greater distances for calculating mpg.

You mean, made to smoke? That tank must have been used on almost all highway or mostly constant speeds.

I get the same milage as before without the 100 plate. I average 18.6-19mpg, can get 20-21 if i'm really easy on it, but who can be when u need to get that turbo spooling every time u leave from a stop, lol. I have stock injectors, I think injectors are the thing that will start to hurt mpg alittle, cant say for sure but i'll probably find out soon, lol.

What are fuel plates and what do they do? Are the only choices 0 or 100, and what do these numbers mean? Is is a mod for more mpg's...I'd like to get more mpgs, relaible mild power if any (I'm not hard on the pedal much at all) and effeciency for my '01 CTD daily driver...

With an 01, you are 24 and electronic so plates don't apply..Mechanical pump part..

As far as mileage dropping with Bio, depending on the type of oil, soy or canola, the BTU or heat energy in the fuel will be slightly lower than the pumped petroleum product. Therefore you need more fuel to do the same job. But if you are brewing it yourself, the cost savings is worth the slight drop in MPG. I noticed mine went down slightly with Canola based Bio. Smelled like french fries, but who cares? I got it for 1/2 price of pumped fuel..

As long as its not a week that I go to the track, I see around 19mpg (give or take) but I drive like an old woman on the street.
