That's what I was thinking... that's a lot of smoke which was pretty sweet, but it looked like he never really started going till about half way through the pull???

The caption says that is Lenny from Dynomite Diesel. Wonder if that is the truck he made 817hp with using nitrous?

That is the truck

that is on teh DDP page.. Man that thing smokes! I kinda wonder tho, does that much smoke really actually lower your power? cause in all honesty the run didnt look like it was all that great....

Unburned fuel.....you do the math......if you can clear up that smoke.....i bet he would have been a bit closer to the camera man at the end....

from the velocity of the smoke coming out, it looks like he never really got on top of the charger. look at scheid smoke. It's like 70 ft high but not that thick. Also you havent seen smoke until you've seen a single charger truck with a 1000 cc pump an 12X12 injectors

Prolly a turbo/intake issue..

I notice that the super stock'r tractors will throw a nice column of soot... they got a nice cherry glowing on the end of the pipe too...

I'd just chalk it up to inefficiency in some areas and mechanical failure in others...

Nah, that's just a little smoke. You haven't seen "SOOT" until you've seen Timinva's truck run on the dyno.

Mine puffs just a little bit compared to his.

Tim's actually blows out wet soot dude. Just look in the album for the NC dyno day if you don't believe me.

you guys really need to get out and watch some pulls from Ohio or indiana. The first truck took 75 feet to get on top of the charger, no air = alot of smoke check this out http://media.putfile.com/Scheid-Pulling-Truck
