Most power without wire tap?

I was wondering, which programmer is out there that makes the most power without a wire tap on the VP? Plus, is there anyway to run one of these programmers and still have use of my edge juice/att gauges?

IMO, the Quadzilla XZT+ is the best non-tap box there is. I ran an Edge EZ for 5 years, and the XZT+ on the factory setting has more power. The aggressive setting is even better. Plus there are twenty something tunes downloadable from their website. I doubt it will work with Edge's gauges though.

I was thinking smarty myself. How much power will these make? What are the pros and cons of these? Is there anyway to run the smarty and monitor my parimeters on the edge?

on a stock truck it's supposed to make around 65hp on a stock truck. that will go up depending on the mods that you use to compliment it. for me i put the edge comp on first and it was a noticeable amount of power. but my truck really woke up when i put the injectors in. As far as smarty interfering with your edge, it has no connection to the edge. the smarty plugs into your diagnostic port under the dash. What it does is reprogram the ecm of your truck. as soon as the smarty has done it's thing with the ecm, then you can unplug it and enjoy. i've been wanting to get one myself but im trying to piece together the parts for compounds for my truck. i'm planning on getting the smarty to compliment the compounds cause itll help on the low end. that's where smarty is awesome is on the low end. so i theorize that the smarty should help with spooling the compounds.

I know nothing about the smarty, but from what i've read, about the most power any non-tap item can make is around 65hp and 200ft/lbs. The differences is in how soon and aggressive the power comes on.

Smarys says 60hp -

XZT+ says 65hp and 200ft/lbs -

Yeah, but those aren't exactly street oriented injectors, are they?

You don't need a boost fooler with a Smarty.

I wonder if that HRVP made anything of the bigger injectors? hehehe
