1) Southbend
2) 4" straight pipe
3) Depends on how much power but twins are the best. I prefer a 62/s400.
4) Mach 6's
5) TST Comp/Drag Comp are the big players.

Don't forget new lift pump setup. I prefer FASS or a mechanical setup.

That would be a sweet set up. If you can't afford twins at the moment, like me, you can go with the 64/14. It works great for me. You can just get a 62/12 and run it by itself untill you can get the rest of the set up for the twins. $.02

Go with what Big Blue suggests if you have serious money to spend on upgrades. If not get a Southbend clutch, Edge Juice with Attitude(because it includes gauges), 4" exhaust, BHAF, and some sort of after market fuel system. The upgrades I listed are more than enough for the average joe but their is always room for upgrades. Also, you may want to figure out what you want more of, a truck for the strip or a tow vehicle. A good truck at the strip doesn't always make a good tow vehicle and vice versa. You may want to do a search on FASS, Vulcan big line and Scotty's fuel system to decide which route you want to go with a fuel pump upgrade. Eric

Not sure if you have them, but if you don't you will need gauges!! Fuel pressure, pre EGT, and boost will do you just right. After this, I would work on the fuel system, than air intake and exhaust upgrade, and then a clutch. After this, you need to know how much power you want to be at. Buy injectors that match your needs and then pick up an adjustable box. Once you have these, you can decide to tap or not to tap the fuel injection wire and then think about a turbo(s) upgrade or maybe a cam upgrade. The idea is to buy parts right the first time, but you need to fix problems before they start like the fuel system and the clutch.

HTHs,

Joe

Gauges are a first. I researched on this site when I bought my truck and gauges were my first mod. I got autometer boost, pyro, and fuel pressure gauges on my pillar. My next mod was a 4 inch straight pipe, I ened up buying it from Rip Rook @ Source Automotive. It sounds awesome and rip is one heck of a guy to deal with! Plus his prices are good! his website is sourceautomotive.biz. My next mods will be some kind of intake, a vulcan big line kit with a pump relocation, and some tranny upgrades. After thats out of the way I'll start adding more power. After you get the basics out of the way its up to you on what power adders you want to put on your truck.

Thanks Guys,
I've got gauges and would like to go to twins. It'll see an occasional blast down the quarter, but most often road and towing use. Who sells the 62/s400 setup? Banks stuff any good??

Don't go banks. To little power for WAY to much money. Also, I believe rip at sourceautomotive.biz or .com I don't remember, he sells a kit that includes all the piping, hoses, boots, and the s400 turbo to make a twin kit.
