You'll wear the truck out first... I haven't used the 1.6's, but I put a ton of miles on a set of Mach 4's.

I have to keep my stock turbo and still tow my
camping trailer. If not for those two things I
would be going with the Mach 4's myself

I have the 1.6's....was VERY surprised at the amount they smoke. Power...yeah....but with with compromises. Many people talk about how "crude" RV275's are, but I made great power with them, and less smoke. Yes, I don't like a smoke trail.

I have the 1.6's with an Edge EZ at the lowest setting and its easy to drive without smoke. I can smoke it but I have to have my foot into it. They smoke waayyy less than the Edge 3's.

Once the HTB2 lights off, what smoke?........but at low boost, even with the Edge double jumpered (no low boost fueling at all), and the TST turned off, it will smoke. Price you pay for power.

I haven't dyno'd yet, but will very soon. In short order, Power by Poole will be installing a Helix 2 cam, valve springs, and a Fluid Dampner. Being that he has an in-house dyno, I'd like the new cam broken in on the dyno and numbers recorded. I know I won't get any greater numbers with the cam, but I'm not looking for that. I want to get back my quicker spooling like I had with my Hybrid PDR-35, and better breathing overall. Looking forward to it....but not the bill!
