More smoke in the summer?

Why does my truck smoke so bad in the summer,but hardly at all in the cold?

Cold air is denser, there are more oxygen molecules for a given volume of air when it's cold. That means there's more oxygen available to burn the fuel. There's also less moisture in the air. Moisture displaces oxygen, too.

Now that problem sounds like poor atomization exacerbated by the cold fuel being more viscous…

Big extrude honed injectors perhaps?????

what color smoke? If it white then that is just the water vapour in the exhaust condensing. Superheated Steam is a colorless gas, just at the boiling/condensing point it apperars white. We get that bad here in canada when it is cold.
