More performance questions 0 #10 or #100 towing heavy loads 94 3500
As some of you have already seen I am tring to put together a performance package for my 94 3500 to have around 300-350 reliable horsepower and be able to tow 8k lbs without having to babysit the egt gauge. So far I have planned on a 3k, k&n cold air kit, .181 delivery valves as well as some type of high flow exhaust. I have had my tranny rebuilt and am wondering if a single disc billet converter is enough for my hp goal. Next question is injectors many guys have suggested marine 370's but others say they are designed wrong for our trucks and will kill my egt's (what injectors should I use?) Then we come to the fuel plate I have been told 0,10, and 100 would be good. Can someone give me some pros and cons on these and where to buy them as venders appear to classify these plates differently (1,2,3,4,5) not 0 10 100. The only other question I have is the turbo, what should I do there? Any help would be appreciated, a friend of mine ownes a mustang dyno and I will be able to post real results. Lets come up with some ideas and put together a package and I will prove it with dyno sheets.
Thanks

FOr your needs and wants
id say go with a 10 plate, 370 injectors, a governers spring kit, a good AFE and hybridize that turbo, or go with something like an HX40 and ur set to go..
100 is what i run, but with loads like the ones in my gallery, i gotta watch the pyro alot, with a 10 u can kinda get away with not watchin it so much..

If you are getting 370's then go with the new era's. I told you what I was running, and how my EGT's are. As for the converter holding... it should. If it doesent, I would buy a built valve body, and try that to get more clamping force to the converter. I personally feel like 370's are gona be too much for a stock turbo, even if you hybrid it. My buddy is running new era 370's, and 191 DV's, and a super phat shaft 62, and he can still peg the pyro. As for the plate, my #0 is a little smokey, but no EGT problems. You can buy the #10 plates from piers, or TST, but the 100, and 0 plates are home ground deals that do work good. You just grind your stock plate.

370's will make EGT's go up...bad!!! And they'll kill your mileage! Go with a set of honed sticks like DDP2's or 3's, or something from New Era that has the correct pattern!
Also, I wouldn't add a convertor only...add a VB while you're in there, they work together to hold the power!

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll stick to the single disc as planned and go with a smaller set of injectors. If I go with the 215 injectors do I need to do anything with the turbo?
Thanks
