You forgot to include the bleed orifice size. That I don't know about the size, but you need a bleed orifice between the pinch point and the wastegate for it to work properly. If you don't have a bleed , then you only delay opening of the wastegate, not control it. It looks like a 0.050 hole or less in mine.

Also the elbow is located at the AFC housing on the 12V engines prior to 98.
