Get a brass elbow (1/8 NPT) and drill from the inside (threaded end) out the back and tap for a #10 set screw. Use a little lock-tite on the thread (removable kind). This replaces the stock elbow on the front of the compressor housing. Screw the set screw in almost all of the way and back it out 1 turn to start with. Then adjust from there. A stock HX35 max efficiency is around 35-36 max.
Also the elbow is located at the AFC housing on the 12V engines prior to 98.
