An HRVP is almost that much now. It is definitely going to be that much or more. Read the linked post to the other forum and they mention prices. Stage II was $2500 I beleive. Stage I, which was 700hp or so was maybe a hair under....not sure, I wasn't paying attention to the stage I .

is it going to be streetable tho, thats what i wanna know.
everyone says they "think" it should be with electronics...but there is no gaurantee.
and also is this gonna be a stand alone pump, or will it still take a TST or Redline box to get the power out of it?
these are some questions i want answered before I buy one. i'm going to make some phone calls tonight!

The thread on the other forum makes it sound like they'll still work with the performance boxes. I'm guessing these will still be Bosch housings, just machined inside for larger plungers. What I'm wondering if TST, Blue Chip, Edge, Smarty, etc will have to make a special program?
One of the guys I spoke to that had one on order said he was skeptical on how streetable it would be. He hadn't had an opportunity to test it yet.

Oh, I did. He, who's name should not be mentioned, I beleive will beta that himself or has someone else in mind. His isn't ready yet anyway....parts only at this point the way I understand it. If I was a little closer, I'm guessing he might consider me for BT.

Just looks to me like Mr Tiger Rag is all set up for one- big sticks, strong clutch, twins, cam, plenty of fuel. All he'd need is the vp and some bigger lines.
Me on the other hand: small sticks, medium turbo, no studs, and dented bumper I'm just going to build now so I'll be ready when these become readily availible

Disclaimer:
I am not posting this to stir anything up or make anyone angry, just simply my opinion.
It matters not to me how much it promises to make on #2, If the thing is no more reliable than a standard VP it is useless in my eyes.
Unless you have bottomless pockets.
It sounds like a cool venture and I am glad someone has the patience and technology to make this product.
I am keeping my eyes and ears open as my VP seems to have developed some issues after reading this.
