Well this thread made my mind up on my direction. Since the hot vp is gonna run the same if not more than a p-pump conversion and reliability is in question, I myself will be going to the p-pump crowd. Not only that but I like to play with things and I can tinker with a p-pump long enough to get it to run right on a 24v. I'll stick with my warranty VP until it kicks the bucket, but it makes more sense to me to build a twin turbo p-pump truck for the same money or less and not be replacing pumps all the time...

Thats the main reason i would have a VP44 over a P pump 24v anyday , cause when they pop the hood you know its going to make power or hope it does, but a VP ehhh thats nothing then it goes out and blows the doors off the 5000+ pumps when yr only turning 4000 or less
