yea --it's a little nuts right now on the pumps--hard to get--Rick at Dave's Diesel told me a timing box shouldn't be used, so now with Ground Shaker coming back and saying some guy is using one---what's right and what's wong--I suspect as it is sometimes a timing box will work on some pumps and then on others it may give them fits, but right now I'd defer to the vendor to be safe----

yes real numbers would be nice coming from a customer, but again until a pump gets in the hands of someone who dynos we can only go by what's been posted by Ben of NEPD and Ground Shaker---

ok for the guys who don't want to read:

If you want info on where to get a pump PM me.

truck with HTT64/14 turbo, no box, 7x19 injectors, big crossovers

stock pump 424 hp
stage 2 520 hp
stage 3 551 hp(I'm thinking the truck set up may not have been a good test for this pump, but maybe it was--I've was given info on flow #'s(a month ago) that I haven't posted, because I believe they are calculated and not pump stand tested and the stage 3 should have been way more than this, so that means either the truck isn't set up right or the flow #'s are way off)

from Ground Shaker: (he may add to what's below)

a truck with a HRVP swapped in a stage one and went from 600ish to 700ish hp with the swap---I'd have to go back and read, but I think the truck had street twins and 8x13 injectors --not sure if there was a box involved or not---

these are the only #'s that have been verified or posted--except for Ground Shakers post above stating 690hp that was dyno'd recently---all other numbers are calculations and should be heeded with some caution until legit proof is in hand IMO--but based on Darren Smith's sled pulling and the video over on compdiesel of a truck with a stage 3 I'd say there's some legit proof that the pumps are in fact something to be reckoned with----chris

i really hope the longevity on the monster vp is better than the standard vp. i am not an engineer or a pump builder and my understanding of how the vp works is on a novice level, but i would sure like to know how this new monster vp is different from the original vp. being a consumer i would like to know how and why it is superior to a standard vp before i spent 2 to 3k on one. what i am trying to say is, we all know the track record of the vp isn't very good and i , for one, would like a somewhat rational explenation on how this pump should be better before i spnet that kind of money on something that could kick the dirt as fast as the original.

turbo dreams---it's a performance pump, so warranties are usually non-existent---YES, I do hope there's some longevity in the pump, but one has to be realistic here when dealing with performance parts---I do know that the builder of the pump knows where every pump is going and he want's it back to fix it if it fails--you will pay for the fix is the way I understand it, but it may be a judgement call on each case----his goal is to make a more reliable pump I feel, but again they are performance pumps and maybe just maybe out of this we get a very reliable pump, but to me it's to early to tell if they will be more reliable than what's out there now---chris

The stage 1 and stage 2s have the one year warrenty regardless of whether you tap the pump.

Warrenty issues are dealt with on a case to case basis. We are not going to hold certain things to certain people. If something goes wrong, we want to make it right, its pretty simple.

I posted that video on compD also and it is speaks even louder in person. I couldn't believe it but man, she worked well.

Blue Ext Cab short box. As I said, all other trucks were brought in on trailers (Well the 6.0 was brought in on a 53 ft enclosed big rig custom painted to match the pickup) and none had inspection stickers on them. Its a matter of playing now, and some guys do adn some guys don't so it all takes time.

only one problem...im out of the green paper
