monster VP!!!!!!

has anyone else heard a rumor about a VP pump coming out that is suppost to support upto 900hp on fuel only? i have talked to 2 individuals on this subject that both work at HIGHLY respected diesel shops and they both have confirmed this as well. said it should be out in the next month or so. just wondering if you guys had any more info on this.

I can remember a bit of something I was reading. A guy one facebook that I know is building something that is suppose to put Scheid Diesel and another company to shame. And as you said it was good to 900-1000HP

I'll add to the rumor mill.... it is supposed to have custom worked barrels and plungers to make the power i believe.

There's a thread about it going on on another site. My question is, what kind of electronics, injectors, etc. is it going to take to get up to those numbers?

I bet it won't be really desirable on a daily driven truck

Thats exactly what I'm wondering. Its all well and good to make big power, but how streetable is it gonna be. CR's can just adjust their boxes, and the p-pumps can adjust their setups, but whats the VP's to do? Sounds cool, but also sounds like its gonna be rather expensive. I wonder if its gonna idle like a HRVP or worse.

I'm wishing for a smooth idle. The HRVP idle is annoying..

i PRAY this is true! it would definetely bring some bragging rights to the vp camp. i bet it could be adjustable so it would be streetable. why not? it's gonna need the usual power adders a regular vp needs now.

Anyone who wants the link to the thread feel free to PM me. Should answer a few questions.

NM, I'm sure the moderators won't mind.
