Mods for under $100

Hey Guys,

Long story short - I have to buy my wife's uncle a Christmas present this year (pick names) and I want to get him something for his truck.

He has an 02 24v with an Edge controller and a K+N filter.

We have a limit of $100.

I was thinking of something like a low fuel pressure warning light kit (he has no gauges yet - I know - he should have done gauges before the Edge).

Any other ideas out there?

Thanks

Chris

Get him a gift certificate to somewhere that sells gauges & other diesel parts- I've used Geno's & Cowboy Diesel Performance.

I've had good luck with Piers. But I bought all my gauge stuff at a local performance shop. Usually they can get everything you want, some vendors will only have certain brands.

I have the low pressure light, and I live in Canada. I got it from Piers in BC. Great company to deal with.

If he has a comp now you could give him 100 towards a juice w/ attitude and offer to sell his comp. Then you could come close to giving him half his gauges.
If he is handy at making things you could find him a walbro pump and help him with a fuel system.
If it is a manual trans and/or 4x4 you could get some new shift ***** from Litegrip.com they are sweet.

Smoothy cupholder and $35 gift certificate.
Gift certificate to a diesel only shop to make sure he uses it on his truck.

For under $100 (closer to $70) you can get him a "campaign" lift pump, and the kit includes a low-pressure sensor. Or for just over $100 you can get a Walbro pump off Ebay.
