Mods to the brake prop valve on the rear?
My truck has the additional proportioning valve on the rear brakes. For those not familiar, when you have a load and the springs compress, or frame lowers, an arm opens up a valve to allow more braking to the rear. Well, since it takes a lot of weight to get mine to move, I want to remove the actuator rod so I can have equal or near to it braking. Anybody done anything with this?
My pland is to put in an adjustable assembly from the bed to the prop valve, or, I may just pull it off of there all together.
Looking for input...
Thanks all-

Some folks just wire or cable tie the arm down to increase rear braking.
Try it and see if it's what you're looking for.
Earlier trucks didn't have a valve and do just fine without.
