which mode to tow in?

all you guys running the edge comp, which mode do you tow in? im mainly pulling a 3000 lb race car on a open trailer with tools, compressor,etc....
i wanna get all power as possible but dont want to destroy anything. thanks

your sig says bd short throw, so im guessing you have a standard.

i wouldnt be scared to tow in 3x? or so. if you can tell its getting a little warm, kick it down to 2. But you shouldn't have any problems with 3klbs.

(if it was me, i would tow on kill. but im not advising anyone to do that)

You wouldn't do that no would you Brian...

Just watch the gauges and you will be ok. Remember that a lot of us properly valved guys tow heavy, BOMBed heavily. We just watch the gauges.

ive been towing in 3/3 and its been doing ok. i was just wondering about 5/5. thanks for the help guys, ill just watch the gauges.

Yeah, as long as you keep an eye on the pyro, and keep the temps reasonable you will be fine. And remember that RPM won't hurt your engine, don't be afraid to drop a gear and pull hills in 4th if you need to.
