hey... trust me on this.
i have installed lots of cam plates... sometimes only a cam plate did not make that much off a difference. after the plate, we screw in the WOT stop screw completly. its a pain on some. now i would just do the governor washer mod.
ok1 we installed the cam plate, we gained about 5 MPH in the 1/4 mile
we screwed that screw in, so it will rev up to 3200 on empty, and gaint ANOTHER 10 MPH
in complete gained 15 MPH in the 1/4 mile ... those few more RPMs are essential

well i finally figured out what it was... it was not the plate at all. the metal boost line that goes under the valve cover was broke right under neath the cover where u could not see it without taking the cover off.thanks for all of the help!!! she runs like a skalded ape now!!
