mixing stick clutches and converters
do not wish to start a debate. i would like some one to try to explain to this old man the following. i read with interest on another board that a single disc converter will hold as much as a triple disc. now if this is so why do pullers with mixing sticks use twin discs. PLEASE dont turn this into what i saw on the other board. i would like to see numbers from both sides. not opinions. i have my opinion.

i am not trying to hook it to anything both of my trucks are non-lock. built them for years. luck with a lock-up in gassers was so-so. will probably try tighter non-lockup when and if i break one of them. dont tow much figger trans will handle what any tire i can get on truck can put on the ground
