Mitre cut
At what degrees should I cut them?
i bought a looong stack (over 6 feet) for 50 bucks and wanna cut it in 2 pieces, what angle should i go? 45* or less??
i think most run 45, would it look bad to cut them at 40 or less?
thanks? any pics of stacks less then 45*?

I'm pretty sure most miter cuts are 45 degrees. I think a smaller angle would look good and be something different. 30 degrees might look good for some stacks. Is the pipe 5" or 6"? I would think the smaller pipe would look better with a smaller angle than a 6" pipe would.

An example of this is a 5" stack...a 45* angle will have the bottom edge of the cut down 5" from the top leaving a huge amount of exposed inside pipe!
My brother thought he wanted 45's untill he saw it cut and he landed up going with 22.5* and it looked alot better!!!!
