I would sure think it would be possible to rig up a P pump on that engine someday. I would also think that Cummins would have different heads available, unless this engine is STRICTLY for Dodge trucks, because there could be ag engines and the like that wouldn't require the emissions stuff. I agree with you, though... no replacement for displacement, and having a 6.7 in a 2nd gen would flat out be AWESOME!

I'm pretty sure the increase in displacement is just to accomidate the egr or whatever. BTW isn't the replacement for displacement called boost??!?

Yeah, ain't we all driving the smallest of the diesels out there? We should sell them for a 7.3, then we would have way more cubic inches...
