MBRP Muffler Delete question
In the DTR Store they have a Muffler delete by MBRP, it says its intended for use with the mbrp system, and not with duals.

Does anyone know if this will work with the stock system I have on there now? It's a 1997 12v ctd STOCK exhaust.
If it wont work, does anyone know where I can get one for around that price? I found one at Geno's but it's almost 100 bucks!!!

just go to napa and get some 3 inch pipe and two conectors, will probally cost 50.00 bucks and get the same results. It says for their system only thats what its for, i would not take the chance that it will not work.

Measure the pipe before buying a new one. My muffler was 4" in and 3" out, so a pipe won't connect it, unless you buy the 4" to 3" reducer. I just bought some 4" pipe and an 30* elbow, pulled the muffler off from the cat pipe, and ran straight pipe back to the rear axle, used the elbow to direct it to the side, very near the oem exit.
Then later I went to stacks, much better.
