What is the difference between buying injectors vs buying nozzles? Nozzeles are alot cheaper, what is the catch here and who makes a good one. Would a stg 3 edge nozzel for $220 work on my truck with tranny upgrade and adrenaline?

The biggest difference is that full injectors are balanced. Pop off pressures are within a few % of each other.

If you just put tips on, chances are about 50-50 that you'll have a ruff idle and sometimes other issues. This is because you cannot make each tip exactly the same as the other, and your injectors are most likly a little out of balance already. Larger tips will amplify this imbalance and cause lopy idle.

When doing tips, your best bet is to send off the injectors to have them balanced.

Of course by the time you pay someone to do this, and add the cost of the tips, you could have just bought full injectors.

Others will chime in and say go with the tips and how great their luck has been with a $250 set, but it is just that, LUCK. They usually are the better side of that 50-50 chance I was talking about.
