Max Boost with stock head bolts
I just bought my first dodge cummins it is and 02 HO 6spd.
I am thinking about maybe doing a bigger single turbo and would like to know how much boost the stock head bolts can take?
I have had about 15 cars including a cobra mustang a chrysler crossfire and some older muscle cars and have to say that this is the funnest vehicle to drive that I have owned I should have bought one along time ago.
Only thing I dont like is that I cant stop buying stuff for it this addiction is worse than with my jeeps.

Some guys have run twins for over a year with stock headbolts, 60+ psi,.... other blow HG's in stock form.
Most will say around 40. Wait for the t-stat to open before flogging it

Ph4tty thanks around 40 is what I was thinking about so I will have to think about doing studs if I go any higher.
Can you just do studs or do you have to do an aftermarket head gasket or other head work at the same time?
