Marine 330 Injectors?
I saw a post for Bosch marine 330 injectors on Ebay.
$295.00 a set with all gaskets and washers and no core charge.
Anybody used them?
I need a set of injectors for my '98 12V. Auto 4X4.
I'm trying to look before I leap...

Marine injectors are OK, but extrude honed or EDM injectors are better. I had 370s, but the DDP4s are MUCH better. The marine engines have a different shaped piston bowl than ours, so the marine injectors smoke more and have higher EGTs for the given power level.
With the DDP4s, my EGTs are the same, or slightly lower than 370s. More power and the smoke is MUCH easier to control. Can still engulf tailgaters if I want, though.

Today I ordered a set of EDM "290s" from Chuck at New Era Diesel. They are just slightly smaller (and a little cheaper) than the 300s. He started making them as a special request from one customer, but they've been popular. I'm wanting to clean up my smoke problem, especially at idle. All the EDM injectors (all the way to the 435s)are supposed to be a big improvement over any of the marine units since the spray pattern is correct for our trucks.
I figure if 400HP can be made with 215s and lazer cuts, then I should have no problem eventually getting to about 450 with the "290s". Someday I'd like to have the ability to tow anything at any speed for as long as I want without worrying about EGTs. Not belching great black clouds while doing so would also be nice.

Yes, I went ahead and bought them. They post on Ebay all the time, so there will be another set up shortly, if not now.
I guess I'll just have to be the Guinnea pig, and see how they work.
