Twins, BD stage 8 injectors, nitrous/propane, P-Pump conversion, FULL DTT/ATS/etc., did I mention the twins? ;D

Seriously though, that combo there should make a nice 14 sec truck.

With just an HX35 you will most likely be low 14's. Change the turbo and you should be high 13's no problem.

I will have to agree with rharveysr. If you want the Ultimate 24 Valve Cummins truck look into a TST PM3 Comp with remote $700. Also EDM injectors would be a great plus. I got mine from J.R. Adkins, but Don M. sells them also. And If you want a 14 flat you might want to look at high performane turbos such as Kurt's B1b and K45... or Piers HX40 or HX50.

Well, except for the above stuff I'd talk to bill K about the tranny mods if you go DTT. After these miles it may be advisable to buy the billet servo and some other stuff too.
I agree on the statement that you will need at least a bigger turbo. But twins would be much better, keep the stocker for the samall turbo and add something big to it. So you'll get better spool (good for surprising people off the line when not able to make a powerbrake) and enough air for the top end.
Have fun !

AlpineRAM

Once I saw the DTT billet servo, and the stock one from another truck, in my own hands, I was sold on it. Just one more thing to figure into my bill.

As for the ultimate 24v, I have one name...."Your Mom"! ;D

The last I heard, its going to run you another 800 or so for the install. And I would heavily recommend the 3rd gear update as well. The last pricing I heard on this, it was in the $300 range. So you're in the $2800 range here.

Your gauges will run you around $320 - $350. As you've mentioned, pyro, boost, and fuel pressure.

You're also going to need a fuel system upgrade. Bigger lines ($120 or so) will allow the stock lift to hold for awhile at the power level you're looking at, but you'll eventually be getting into a bigger lift pump.

My personal opinion on power boxes is the TST PM3 Competition version. Its less expensive than the DRAG Comp, and you can throw digital pyro/boost at it to save a little money on the gauge front. Depending on where you get it, the PM3 Comp is $699 - $750 with the basic remote, and $899 with the pyro/boost kit.

DD3's are a great injector, however as many have mentioned, if you can swing the extra money, the EDMs are the way to go. 100 HP EDMs will run you between $800 and $900. You'll see better bottom end torque, less smoke, and less heat.

And you will be getting into a turbo at these power levels. I've not made it any secret that I feel the KwikKurt turbos are far away the best turbo for toughness, power, and EGT reductions. A K.45 will run you somewhere around the $1300 - $1500 mark, again, depending on who you buy from and what options you choose.

With the 4" exhaust and the Scotty II, you're going to be closer to the $6500 - $7500 price range, $500 - $1000 cheaper if you go with extrude honed injectors and an HX40 turbo.

Rod
