I love my Back Rack, and you don't see many of them...

That is my old truck, before the tires...
And I have a Back Rack with a Black diamond plat tool box in the 97. I usually had a Greenlee job box in that truck, but it was out for that pic because I had to take it out to fit our gear for a hunting trip.

Cowboy717, I would say you have asked one of the hardest questions to answer on this board. Personally, I like stacks, running lights, fake beadlock wheels, Lund Visors, huge bumpers that will bend your frame if you hit anything with them, mudflaps, CB antennas and pinstripes- just not on my truck. I typically go after things that make my truck get better mileage, tow better or give it more power(unfortunately it was lifted when I bought it). If I was you I think I would get some things like a DSS, fuel pump kit or tranny upgrades before you get into looks. My 2 cents, Eric

A roll pan ia a replacement for the rear bumber that removes the bumber and place a piece of rolled sheet metal into the gap created. cleans up the rear a bit but looks funny on a truck made for working. On a super bee or older hot rod truck heck yeah. Usualy done along with removing the tail lights and filling the gaps and putting corvette lights into the roll pan. There are a few hitch makers that make hitches for roll pans that have the reciever tube hidden behind the license plate on a spring loaded plate mount. just lift the plate and install the reciever and ball.

I gotta admit I like the roll pan. Where do you get those? Are they expensive?

oh and DUBs,,,, H%@!* NO!!!,,,
its already got john deere emblems in the back glass
since my truck is all silver,,, i think i'm gonna go chrome everything though,,,

I've seen both. I've been looking into getting a set of the Recon Lighting cab lights for my truck. My neighbor has a set of smoke cab lights on his 3rd gen CTD and I have to say, they look SAWEET!

As for the modifications, I tend to be a "performance before looks" kinda guy. I'd rather have a sleeper than a good lookin truck that can't get out of its own way. But after I get my gauges, brakes, 10 plate and a few other things I will probably do some aesthetic modifications. I'm planning on doing wheels & tires, a Lund Sunvisor, cab lights, nerf bars, and some sort of bedcover. I've also considered getting a set of the newer mirrors (98-02 style)...

I was thinking about a set of bull horns mounted on the hood of your rig!!

Actually, I like the look of removing all the stickers and decals from the truck and making it as shinny as possible. Also a billet grill insert is sharp also.
