Maintenance

This is my first diesel so I'd like to double check with you all that I am maintaining it properly.....

I've had the truck for a little over 50,000 now. I'll be getting it back soon with a new VP44, fass 150 and DTT trans (converter, sonnax shift kit, etc)

What maintenance should I do, how should I do it, and at what milage should said maintenance be done (specifics, photos, etc would be helpful)!!!!

I've heard recently that the map sensor needs cleaning, I know the filters in the 150 need it, but don't know when. THings like this.

I'd like this thread to be a refrence tool that I will compile a table for all of the maintenance that needs to be done on our trucks!

Thanks for your help!!!!

Personally, I feel for a complete maint. list/time table, you really can't go wrong with a Chilton shop manual. Or even a Hayes for that matter; though I do like the Chilton better. They cover pretty much all of the basic needs of your truck. And anything more advanced that needs to be performed, well, you got us here at DTR.

FSM = Factory Service Manual

Give the front end a going over, it might need tie rods, track bar, or a drag link.

I personally like Haynes more than Chilton. Different experiences I guess.
