SRIGS, I actually bought an extra reducer for the tailpipe but I just couldn't bring myself to leave the tailpipe inlet at 3.5" when the muffler would fit right over the 4" section. I also didn't have time to take off of work to go to a muffler shop. The custom guys always seem to be closed on the weekends.
I have noticed no power or acceleration gains. Only thing is that I drive with my windows down more!! ;D

Dodgezilla, I took your idea and did the same thing...I didnt
have the time so I had a local muffler shop do the work today.
They have done work on many of my cars so I knew I could
trust them...Used the same muffler you did (love the sound)
and they also welded on the Magnaflow sst 5 inch exhaust tip

Sweet 03CTDCO! I really like the sound of this Magnaflow. I like the 4" Megs tip but I am now wishing I had gotten a 5". 
Turbo59pwr, I had straight piped my 98 for about an hour. Man is it loud!
I drove it one time and went back home and put the muffler back on! Then I got a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler for it and it sounded exactly the same as stock.
As far as straight pipe goes, I've heard many negative comments about the sound on an 03 but also many guys on this board really like the sound. I would recommend that you attend a get-together so you can see what it sounds like before you make the plunge....

The sound of my Magnaflow is loud enough...a straight
pipe would wake my neighbors and my wife !!!
This combo is about as much noise as I want...I'm sure it will
be more anoying once I hook up our 5er in the spring.
It may be too loud but I'm gonna drive it for a while and if
the wife complains I'll have to add another Magnaflow inline
with the 30" I added yesterday...maybe get the shortest one
they make or something.
