Re:MAAP Challenger Tube Steps

I just ordered mine from Cabela's. They said they were in stock but may take 3-5 weeks to deliver. That should be perfect for me because my truck has the same arival window.

Re:MAAP Challenger Tube Steps

Well I hate to break it to you but that is where I ordered mine from also. And that is what they told me back on 12/11. Now they said another 3-6 and the MAAP doesn't have any and are waiting for them to be made, don't get in too big a hurry waiting for them

;D Ahh... but they are worth the wait, my friends. ;D

I am very pleased with mine. The quality is good and they are sturdy (and I am a "big" guy).

The only issue I had with 'em is the installation instructions left much to be desired - and much to the imagination. Me too.

I just got off the phone with Cabela's. I have always had great luck with them but tonight they were, lets say less than helpful. Your rught they have no idea when they will be shipped.

They did say if I did not hear from them in three weeks they would contact MAAP. I guess I should be good at waiting by the time this is all done.

Re:MAAP Challenger Tube Steps

Don't want to burst any bubbles, but if memory serves correctly, MAAP is a sub-division of Steel Horse who filed bankruptcy just a few months ago. I too was also once in the market for the MAAP SS Challenger Oval Tube Steps. Now after checking around at other BBS boards, seeing pictures, installations and speaking with fellow enthusiasts I am considering either Nfab bars or rocksliderz.

Best of luck.........

K

I received my Challenger steps today, three days after I ordered from a local dealer here in Georgia. Sorry guys, but I did.

Cabelas called back last night finally after they got ahold of the factory. They are saying another 3-4 weeks yet, that is what I keep hearing, think it is time to do some shopping >

Re:MAAP Challenger Tube Steps

Hey what do you know they showed up today, that was way faster then I thought. Will put them on tonight. Got the exhaust brake on Saturday, things are starting to come together.
