lowering a 4x4 and super single

does anybody know of any kits to lower a 4x4 CTD. my plan is to pull the block out of the rear but i can't find any shorter coils for the front. would 2wd coils work for that. with the blocks out i would need about 2" drop in the front. also does anyone use a super single rear wheel. let me know what you think.

You could get some springs out of a half ton, that'll drop the front end down a couple inches for you. It'll make for a nice soft ride, too if you surf around on dodgeram.org you can find the spring rates and codes on there. dodge used a lot of different springs in it's trucks!

Any thoughts about doing an airbag setup in the front?

The 1500 coils will drop it down quite a bit if that is what you want. I dont think it will bottom out, but you might want to put some bump stops on it. I know a guy whos drag truck is like this.

I was going to lower just the back end of my truck by putting some shorter blocks in the back but a guy at my local 4x4 shop told me the the driveline might bottom out without those bump limiters, I dont know if this is true or not, but I left mine alone. I was going to lower it to make more clearence for my fifth wheel.

I'd like to lower mine to give it a nice sporty truck look but at the same time have the traction of 4wd.

Yes, along the same lines, I would like to lower the rear of mine a bit too. I want the "level" look, but dont want to lift the front to get it, I want to lower the rear. I too was going to make smaller blocks for the rear.
