lost screw for boost elbow
Hey guys my truck started to sound a little different so I opened the hood, and found that my adjustment screw for my boost elbow is missing. Is this good or bad. What are the pros cons and is there a way to buy just the screw? Was thinking about going down to the hardware store and finding somehting to fit but if it is no big deal why bother. It must have some effect cause I stopped to check the truck. I was just getting on the throttle a little to merge in to traffic not playing by any means and I could just hear a different tone bouncing of the concrete wall. Have not drove the truck hard by any means since I found out being that the drive home was only 3 miles. So depending on the responses maybe I'll get on the throttle tommorow and or head straight to the parts store. Thanks for any and all info.

Thanks J,
didn't think that it would do any harm. All it can do is be like an open wastegate right. And with the amount of fueling that I have possible i'm sure that I will still be able to hit and utilize 30+ psi of boost. Until I get the right size all thread.

All you need is a set screw, if its anything like the one I had. Probably a #8 or #10 machine thread.
Without the screw in, you have a boost leak. I'd get it fixed.
