Looking for new injectors...........
I just replaced the vp-44 with a reman and i finally talked the wife into letting me get some new injectors. I sold her on the milage thing although i hardely drive my truck. (had it for almost 6 years and only put about 50k on it)
I missed out on a set of 75hp injectors that were on here and im a little upset about that.
What would be a good injector to get (around 75 - 100 hp) that is easy on the pocket?
And whats with the nozzles? i have a feeling i want the whole deal, not just part of it.
I got a billet Goerend trans with a billett t/c and input shaft so that isnt an issue any more and the juice with attitued that i would like to unlock the hot juice on, K&N intake and MPRP dules but im still rockin the stock turbo......
what is a safe route to go with these thing?
Thanks
Locke

Depends on what you are gonna do with the truck. 100hp is probably gonna be pushing it on that stock turbo. You are gonna wanta look into a turbo soon too. Hopefully you got a new fuel pump to supply the VP, there are lots of good injectors out there. Get ya a HTB2 and some 150s and you'll bet set for a while

I agree, fuel system is most important. As far as injector, you have many options. The Jammers are rather cheap especially if you get nozzles and install them yourself.

If it was me...i would stay away from jammers just heard way to many bad things. Im looking at the same thing 75-100hp injectors on about the same amount of electronics. But i am looking at turbo upgrade too. And i have come to the conclusioni of three options
Cheap--Jammers--hot and smokey--least favorite option
Farm Boy Diesel, Diesel Auto Power or a number of others who all use the same injectors but have put there shops name on them. Decent not as hot or as smokey but make a honest fill in HP number--favorite option
Spend real money and get DDP, F1 Machs I cant remeber the other ones---the high dollar injectors that are really nice but expensive.
I personally have had great luck with Jacob at Diesel Auto Power and will probably get a set of his 75 or 100hp injectors and at the same time do a turbo.
Hope it helps
