Looking for front bumper for a winch

Anyone have a good source for a front bumper w/ brush guard that can also hold a winch? I've seen a few but they were pretty expensive.

Thanks!

Cool

I think no matter where you look or what you find ( unless you build it yourself ) is going to be pretty darn expensive. I would look on Ebay and see if you can find one for cheap....er

Pretty much anything is going to be $1,500 on up for a full replacement bumper with brushguard that can mount a winch.

Mine was $1,500 2 years ago, and I'm sure he's raised the price.

Define "pretty expensive"...it's kind of a relative term.

The one Phox_Mulder has is, IMO, very nice...especially since it is Aluminum and much lighter than anything you will fine elsewhere. The shipping would probably kill the deal for you...unless you are going to Colorado.

The Ranch Hands, which are very popular around the Southwest are about 40% less and about 40% heavier!

Wow, I didn't know the ranchands were that much cheaper.

But again, shipping would drive the price up pretty fast, especially with the current fuel prices.

Expect the price for them to go up as steel costs go up due to the price of fuel as well.

mine is in my gallery it is a tietjens made by lonestar. Its the stoughtest and toughest bumper Ive ever come across I mean its been through trees hit plenty of metal poles. And the PO who was a buddy of mine even rammed a telephone pole on night with it til it fell over. Now thats pretty strong to me. doesnt even have a dent in it.

It wasn't too bad. $100 crate fee and $150 to ship to the New England area.

I was quoted $850.00 for their Legend Series from a dealer in N. Texas (yesterday-called a friend who works there)...but they sell a lot of them and I believe they are well below suggested retail!

Also only $75.00 to install one on a Dodge. After installing mine....I would gladly go back in time and pay that!

But, here again, "expensive" is a relative term.

ARB Sahara Bar, about $1100 shipped. Winch-ready, airbag-compatible, built-in tow hooks and light buckets. Which, of course, you can see I need to get off my lazy behind and put some lights in mine.

Check out Tough Country... www.toughcountry.com

Simlilar to the Ranch Hands, just supposed to be a little lighter, and little different style.
