I found one on ebay but I'm worried about what a black grille on a red truck will look like anybody ever seen these. Ebay link removed

What do you think it would look like

 

i'm a fan of black on red. I think it would look fine if you have more black trim on the truck. In the pic, it looks glossy. I would contact them and make sure it is. I ordered a black stock style grille for my 99 and it was just plain black ABS looking stuff, no gloss. It ended up looking fine, just not what I expected.

I don't think so, but it's just a $30 cheapie on ebay, not like the one you posted. It's just like the stock one, but black.

 

this is the ebay cheap one had for over a year now. complete black plastic, was good fit no problems with the tabs. everything lined up well

might as well order an emblem while you're at it. There is an empty hole for it in the grille, and I've never had luck removing the factory one. You should be able to find them for under $10 on ebay.

 

or get the cummins emblem like I put in my grill. 5$ I think at Geno's

 

Oh that's really cool! They didn't have that when I did the grille in my 99. I tried to figure out how to make one for a long time. I'm gonna have to get a few of those for sure.

 

I looked under emblems at genos and didnt see it

 

come to think of it where I got it was my last truck was a 3rd gen and I took the emblem from the fender and cut off the Turbo diesel part on it. but go on EBAY they should have something if you search Dodge+Grill+emblems
