Looking for aux fuel
Looking for an auxilary fuel tank, to add in the truck box in the bed... Possibly something that can pump on demand to my main tank? Any suggestions or pointers?
Thanks

i am looking also, and was going to post the question of hookup, if you were to Tee it into your fuel line with a valve, i think you would need a check valve on your main tank line, inbetween the tank and the tee. if anyone has a setup, i would be curiouse as to the proper hookup.
the best way i think would be to have a bulkhead quick disconnect on the bed in the corner with some sort of guard, and have the aux. tank removeable.

Whitney has a motor operated valve, 6 port to switch both suction and return for 84 bucks. This also allows the gauge to switch also. I have one ordered to go with the RDS 60 gal tool n fuel that is also ordered.

I have the RDS 90 gallon tool and fuel. The place where I bought it did the install to DOT regs, so they say and whatever that means. They used a 15 gph pump that feeds into the factory filler neck. I have a switch on the knee bolster that turns the pump on and off. Just have to be careful not to leave it running for too long or I will over flow the factory tank. Not that I have ever felt like a moron when I did that.

I have a Transfer flow fuel tank. I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! ITs polished and worked great. digital read out tell me how many gallons are in the main tank and aux then adds them together. WWW.TRANSFERFLOW.COM

I have a homeade tank that I'm about to hook up. It holds 75 gallon. I'm going to use an inline fuel pump and have it go into my filler neck.
It should be installed in a few weeks. Ill post up when I have it done.

I have a 60 gal tank toolbox combo in my 01 and I use it as my main tank, I moved the stock L/P to the frame rail right under the tank, so my L/P has about a 1 pound suction head on it, then I bought a cheep transfer pump and hooked it up to the OEM tank so I could transfer from there to my in bed main tank, I highly recommend this combo to anyone who runs a tank in the bed .
Cheers, Kevin

They have tool box/60 gallon tank combo, and plumbing/wiring kit that you can install, it will work w/factory gauge, on an in-cab switch.

I buit a bed tank for a friend, we used a pump to transfer to his stock filler neck, not sure on the dodge, this was a ford v10 application, but we first used a vented cap, big fat bad idea! the tank loses pressure and vapor lock like symptoms occured, like I said not sure if it applies to the ctd, but with the sensitivity to fuel issues I would suggest if you do plumb into the filler neck that you use the same type of filler cap.
