WELCOME VanB ! I've only been registered here for less than a week and love this site ! Really full of lots of helpful oil burnin' folks. You'll want to get guages pretty early before you start adding too much fuel. You don't want EGT's too high or you'll be burning valves etc. I found a 5" ss exhaust system on RPM I really like. It as probably overkill but I won't have to worry about that any more. Your thinking is good IMO. Get a good exhaust and intake 1st then start playing with more fuel.

van Aaken is nice for the price and easy to install. Just put one in and I like it.
