Lock out switch

We have been trying to install a lock switch on a 95 12 valve. We are doing this due to the fact that we added an aftermarket fuel plate and turned the pump up. Now this is causing the tranny to slip as we expected. Now we are trying to save the tranny for a few months until our buddy can afford to buy a new DTT. We have the switch wired and everything and it is wired the correct way. It just wont work. Any ideas as to what may be wrong? Need help soon the tranny needs to last until around the holiday season.

On the 95, like mine, all you should be doing is applying a ground to the wire coming off pin 54 of the computer (PCM). Sounds like a bad ground or bad connection. Should be a simple fix.

I've read that some '96s need the PCM reflashed for the TC lockup switch to work. Not sure about '95s.
