Lines Connected to AFC??
Ok, I can't figure this one out. From the factory these trucks come with one steel line running from the intake manifold to the AFC to read boost right? Well mine has that, but it also has a hole drilled and t6apped in the intake horn with a boost line coming out of it connecting to the AFC housing by way of a tee fitting which the other steel line is already connected to. Why does it need to lines to read boost? Whats this for? Hopefully I was clear on what I'm trying to say, if not I'll take some pics. Thanks

Thats what it sounds like, but I wonder why he didn't just plug it? Basically that lines feed boost from the intake maniflod to the intake horn, doesn't seem like its needed. Maybe he was hoping the bioost signal would reach the AFC sooner with the line hooked to the intake horn.

Check those lines again.
Most of the manual transmission trucks had a hard line running between the AFC to the waste gate actuator (turbo side).
Boost signal was tapped from the cast intake (part of the head) and tee'd into the hard line.

The faster the AFC gets pressure, the faster it can start moving forward, the faster you start getting more fuel. Blocking the AFC off would be putting it in valet mode, which can't be all that much fun.
