limp mode
I just resently unhooded my comp and the truck went into limp mode and the check engin light is on. I have tried unhooking the batteries to reset the computer but that was no help. Anyone have any other tricks to try.

if you check your codes on the odometer you might see an overboost code. if you take the comp off, you have to put the stock wastegate elbow back in to keep boost under ~20# as well as put both connectors (MAP & data) back to original. Once the trouble condition goes away, it will take a few cycles of driving to clear the light. the only way to CLEAR the codes is to have them scanned and cleared. Some programmers do this or the dealer can do it with their DRB tool.
...or you can put the comp back on and let it run through a few cycles (may take a couple days, but the limp mode should be gone once the trouble condition is corrected)
