Limiting straps. where do you mount them?

I need to put some limiting straps on my front axel so when its put on a lift the axel dosent hang off the shocks. Does anyone know wheres a good place to mount them? Or does someone make a kit with brackets? I know the cepek long arm kit with the lift came with limiting straps and some sort of brackets.

I don't see why you couldn't drill a hole in the top of the control arm mount, bolt one end on there, and then just bolt the other to the frame.

my lift has an extended controll arm tower. I dont know if bolting into that since it itself is bolted to the original tower would be a good idea or not. Good thought though. I'll have to go outside and check it out

Check with Superlift.......I have limiting straps that came with my 5" kit from them. It came with a plate that bolts on top of the shock tower with a flange that sticks off the side a little bit with a hole to attach the strap, and then on the bottom it just attaches to an existing bolt if I remember right. I'll look when I get home if it ain't to dark out.

I think i found it in the directions for the lift you have on the superlift website. Looks like that should work provided all the attaching points are strong enough witch id think they'd have to be or they couldnt sell it. I also would assume that with my "4.5" lift that ended up being 5.5" and your 5" that ended up being who knows what that there close enough that the strap length is correct. Thank you for the tip, what color is the strap?
