Today my lift pump started going out...What are my options...I was told 400 for one in the tank, 150 for the same pump...what else can i do?

Definitely don't go the in-tank route. You can either pick up a replacement Carter pump for $150, a Holley Blue pump from a variety of auto parts places, or just look at the FASS or Walbro alternatives.

If you're modding, I'd look past the stock replacement for something better (although I am still running my stocker and the pressure never goes below 10psi).

im thinking about getting the stock+holly blue...the most i will ever do is maybe stack a chip or run some injectors.
