Lift pump

Lift pump
Well my second carter went up and I threw my areomotive pump on there which was working great until the weather got cold and I've run a few tanks of the ultra low sulfer stuff. Now it is leaking from the bottom of the pump, which areomotive said could happen. Anyway I am looking into the walbro 392 set up or should I just throw a holley blue or black pump on there. I have the vulcan big line kit and would like to reuse it. I am planning on mach 4's or higher and a htt super series turbo in the spring, so I want to make sure this new pump will support it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated..

you could get away with the holley blue, but the walbro is a nice setup. it just depends on how much you want to spend.can't you fix your aeromotive pump?

I have a question. On my 1999 dodge my lift pump, which only had 7,000 miles on it began leaking, so I installed the new in-tank version. Now I have very litte pressure (idle at 8 or 9 psi). I plan on installing another in-line pump but have had people tell me that I might have a problem with the pulling fuel through the new pump. What do you think?

99Blackrig, as for the Walbro pump, I wouldn't consider anything else. AFS has a really nice setup for a very fair price. They have two versions. A full version, which includes 3/8" hose to the filter and a second system that is for trucks that already have a Vulcan or Geno's kit installed. I have their system on my truck and see 18 @ idle and no less than 16 at any time! The fuel pressure is adjustable too, in case you prefer it higher.

Thanks for the replys, I quess I will go with the AFS set up. I have considered cutting my own gaskets for the areomotive pump but it is a back up for my vette and would like to keep it that way. I figured I would give it a try and see what happens, it didn't go too well.
