Re:Lift kit

That looks an awful lot like a Skyjacker lift.

The red springs, red control arms, and red upper control arm relocation bracket are Skyjacker.
Also looks like a Skyjacker trac-bar extension bracket.
And a Skyjacker sway bar extension bracket.

The steering stabilizer seems to be in the wrong place?

The steering linkages almost look like they are bent in places they shouldn't be bent.
And the sway bar joint looks a little bent, or missaligned?
(in the pic showing the driver side from the front, with the trackbar extension bracket)

The pitman arm looks like it is factory length, hence the steering linkage being at such odd angles.
My Skyjacker came with a longer pitman arm to fix that problem.

Looks like a lot of oil dripping of the steering box as well.

I don't see an add-a-leaf on the rear springs, and can't see the lift block, perhaps they just have a taller block?

Is this the truck you're looking to buy perhaps?

Is the Y'All from the southern part of Austria?

Re:Lift kit

Thanks phox !

Do you have some pics where I can see what it's supposed to look like ?
I have been looking at this truck today..... as the vendor said.. some bodywork, but mechanically top...
Actually the steering box is not only leaking but the shaft is bent some too

Yup, there were things bent and sum whatchummacallits welded where they shoudn't be ;D

And no, the Y'all was imported- maybe I should order some more of them, seem to be running out- anybody want to swap some Umlaute for some southern slang ??? can offer Ä's and Ö's. But htere is even more- some Ü's will be added to your delivery if you call right now

Re:Lift kit

Actually its Jerry (or phox).

Doug is the "exhaust tone and volume" guy :

Probably a good idea to stay away from that truck.
Don't want to gamble on front end stuff, especially with the problems a perfectly good Dodge front end has.
(DeathWobble, Tracbar, steering box, etc)

Re:Lift kit

Ooopsie, sorry Jerry , it was a little after 1 am in my neck of woods. :-[
The main reason why I'll stay away from this truck is the price. I do think that any attempt to repair by a definitely incompetent mechanic actually decreases the value of a vehicle.

Thanks

AlpineRAM
