life of BHAF?
How long will a BHAF last? Can you clean them? I'd like to get a perf. air filter, but $80 for an air filter that would have to be replaced in 7k? I don't think I can do that. just wondering. -cwbronc

The BHAF have allot of filter area as compared to a stock air filter....and like any filter they become more efficient when they become a little dirty
The proper way to determine when to change a diesel air filter is by the reading of the Filter Minder (be sure its working) I ran a K&N dropin filter for 60000 miles before I changed to a BHAF and I expect to get at lease that or more from the BHAF
A washable foam cover over a BHAF will extend the usable life of the BHAF

I go 100k between servicing with a K&N drop in, would expect a BHAF to last at least as long.
Easy project to install a filter minder, all you need to do is drill a hole and push it in.
