I'm having my Superlift 2" coils installed tomorrow, just couldn't commit to not doing it the right way, spacers are the cheap, easy way out. The coils can be had for around $200. To me coil spacers are about as tacky as a body lift.

Why are spacers the cheap and easy way out when the specific goal is to level the truck? What is the down side of a 2" spacer on a truck with otherwise stock suspension?

I've got D25's from sky jacker. If I were to do it again I'd get them from a coil spring specialty place. The problem with some of the big name company's is they use the same number of coils on a 2.5" lift as a stock spring. A specialty company can also adjust the load of the spring. If you want a softer ride the can make it 10% lighter. If you have a heavy duty off road bumper that weighs 200 pounds more the can adjust the load so the front doesn't sag, but still gives factory ride.

I agree, a spacer is a highly effective way of leveling the truck, without affecting the ride. That is a big selling point for many.

I have the TopGunzCustoms spacers, bought them off Ebay. They are pretty beefy, and the welds are very nice. I also bought a complete lift kit for my Cherokee from them, they are a good company to deal with and ship very quickly.
The concern with poly spacers (on a heavy Cummins truck) is that over time they can degrade and start to crack and get squishy. On a lighter vehicle like a TJ, I would not think twice about using them, but under my Cummins I am more comfortable with steel.
