Re:Leveling Kit

Thats what I had when I first lifted my truck.

I'd still have them, but my tires were too big for it, so I opted for the 4 1/2 skyjacker.

Sold them to another user on here, w4tc???something-or-other.

If I were to do it all over again, but with slightly smaller tires, I'd go with the Tuff Country again.
Metal is much better than the poly-plastic-eurathane-whatever that some manufacturers offer.

Re:Leveling Kit

I've been debating on this mod for months. I just want my truck to sit a little more level. I don't plan on doing large tires, at least not for quite a while.

I just ordered the SkyJacker D25 coils from Summit yesterday instead of spacers ($149). I want the improved ride. The front end bounces way too much over bumps at low speed. The D25s are almost identical in height to the spacers, but with a much better ride. At least that's what I keep hearing.

I'm throwing some RS9000s on with them. That should help too.

Re:Leveling Kit

I have the SJ's on my truck, and they really improved the ride.

Re:Leveling Kit

I am the one that phox sold his used lift/ leveling kit to. It worked out real well. Truck is now level. The only thing is when I load a heavy load on the goosneck or pull behind trailer the truck now rides a little high in the front. Just depends on what you want.

Re:Leveling Kit

I have the 2in.kit on my truck with 305's. Love it,looks cool. Now I have full replacement bumper, wish that I would went with 2.5in. When towing 35ft. 5er, make back spring look weak but I still love the look. You might as well install new shocks while doing the spacers since shocks have to be pulled for install. Install took 4 hours,12 beers & 3 skint knuckles. Not to bad for first time. Now I could do it in 2 hours, 6 beers & 3 knuckles. Make sure shocks are long enough but not to long. 8)

Re:Leveling Kit

I just got a set of spacers, 4 pro comp shocks, and a pro comp steering stabalizer installed yest on the truck. Talk about a night and day difference in ride and handling. The ride is firm, but not bouncy. Very nice. The truck handles like a sports car. Very flat, very stable. The truck is much more predictable in the turns. It actually kicks out less now than it did before. The view of the road is excellent. I need to get an add-a-leaf though because now my front end sits higher than my back.
