Let There Be Light!!!

When I installed my relay harness, I hooked the power lead right to the charge terminal on the back of the alternator to achieve even less voltage drop.
I found on my Summit harness that the relays were of extremely poor quality. They failed soon, and having an uncommon footprint I couldn't find a direct replacement, so I installed common ISO relay connectors to the harness and installed decent Bosch relays.

One of my relays on the LMC harness died this morning...
Anyone have a source for relays (I havent looked yet but thought one of you guys might have the info handy).

I buy in bulk off fleaBay. They all basically come from the same factory in China anyway. Only ever had one out of probably 50 go bad on me. Buy extras since they are cheap.

Dr. Evil, Try here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=330-073
They also have a 330-070 for about $2.50
On an aside, I used an old private airplane owner trick on my plastic headlight housings. Clean them with gunk remover and then apply a nice coating of Lemon Pledge! Wipe away the excess and you are left with a fairly clean lens! This is used on plastic aircraft windows to remove the yellow and keep bugs off and I think it helps a lot!

I thought about going sport but it was too much modification and costly for my taste. My thought was that I can go back to stock easily with my setup and fix nearly any problem in a auto store parking which I didn't feel like I could with other options.
