Less smoke?

Less smoke?
I just switched from stacks to a 5'' straight pipe, the stacks were just the factory 3'',no muffler and a 90 into the stacks.I know that smoke comes from fuel, and wouldn't think ehaust has anything to do with it,but I don't think my truck smokes like it did before. With the old exhuast it would blackout street lights after dark, now it seem like it's about half as much. I know the better exhaust will let it breath better but would that reduce the smoke?

You most likely noticed its a little quicker to spool the turbo too...that means more air,quicker..hence less smoke, you're going to have to throw some bombs to get your smoke back
My edge makes lots-o-smoke don't yours?

Also as its getting colder out you loose some smoke to because the air is denser. Is the fuel pressure allright? Lots of things can change the amount of smoke but im betting on the temp being main factor.

everything else is the same,it was warmer here a few days back and still less smoke than with the stacks.I'm not worried about it though, just thought it was interesting and wanted to see what other people had to say about it,and it does still smoke alot!
