Lazer Cut DVs installed....
Got a few videos of my truck today. I swapped some lazer cut delivery valves into my truck last night just to try them out. The butt dyno says i gained a decent bit of power and it smokes quite a bit more. With the 191s i could clear the smoke up to a good haze but with these it just never clears up. I knew my temps were gonna be hotter but actually theyre not as bad as i thought they were going to be. The temps arent much worse than my 191s were. I definitely wouldnt want to haul much with this combo but its very driveable on the street. If i want to i can take off without it smoking hardly at all, but the power sure is there if i "need" it

I'm guessing you guys haven't modded the AFC? my truck w/ DDP4's will hit 1600* at 50psi through a ported head w/ my sps62, and that's w/ 181 DV's.
I can't imagine what bigger DV's would do (nor am I going to find out! LOL!)

No idea. its all brand new and im still installing it. I was told a sps64 wouldnt really cool it any better and wouldnt be as streetable. and a 66 just isnt streetable at all.

EGTs can definitely become an issue. Youve just got to watch the gauge and adjust it accordingly. Sure i can bury the pyro with the best of them, but if you drive it sanely its completely fine. These motors can take extreme amounts of heat as long as its not for extended periods of time. If it breaks just build it back bigger and stronger

I used to bury the needle on my old truck... when the head had surface cracks all in the face, I vowed to keep temps sane on the next one I built... I don't consider 1600 insane, but just pegging the needle doesn't turn me on anymore
next step for me is water/meth, if the needle stops moving anywhere below 1500, I'll be happy (and will probably throw more fuel at it! LOL!)
