Re:latest pics of the lil red cummins express
Looks good George!!!!
Several things I noticed I thought I might comment on:
1. The intercooler core is too small to flow that many CFM of air and not have a serious pressure drop across it. It will work, but it is somewhat corked up.
2. Glad you did away with the industrial water/air intercooler. it will explode with the pressure ratio you will be running.
3. Try and find yourself a BANJO exhaust fiting to bolt onto the exhaust discharge of the primary (large) turbo. They are not restrictive and the firewall clearance is pretty dern tight for a perfect downpipe.
Looks like you are having fun
Don~

An intercooler that can handle the volume of CFM you are running is what ya need. Also the stocker will blow out on ya if you run the boost too high. You will need a core with enough area to deal with about 1700CFM.
This is a large core The extruded bar and plate intercoolers are somewhat tougher. Your stock intercooler will more likely than not give you about a 15psi plus boost drop across it. Shoot for zero loss or very low single digits.

The exhaust banjo is/has been proven to be no more restrictive than a good downpipe. I just saw the firewall real close like that and the banjo poped in my head.

The whole truck looks like fun to me and the 1st Gens are light compared to the later models. It should move down the track pretty good ;D

Don~
